The staff of The Green Tricycle wants to assure you that any information -- including email addresses, personal data, manuscripts, or any other intellectual property -- will not be shared or distributed. We will never share, distribute, or sell any information or material you place in our trust.
If you sign-up for our mailing list, your address and/or personal data will only be known to Bravenet, where our mailing lists are maintained, and to the publisher, who is the only person who sends out announcements. You will never receive spam from The Green Tricycle or Cayuse Press. You will receive at intervals of four to six weeks an announcement of the latest publication, feature or deadline at The Green Tricycle and Cayuse Press. That's all you'll receive from us.
As one of the oldest and most respected Internet companies, Bravenet has been supplying various website services to Cayuse Press for years. We are proud to have recently activated their Mailing List service. If you choose to sign-up for our list, you may do so by visiting our Mailing List. Bravenet operates a double opt-in list that requires you to respond to the email they send back to you before you are on the list. It may seem like a bother, but this absolutely prevents someone else from signing you onto the list against your wishes.
When you send your poetry and fiction to the editors and publisher, rest assured that they are the only persons who have electronic or hard copy access to your work, your biography, and personal data included in the submission. The editors will chat among themselves as they decide which works best fit our publishing needs. But these discussions are private and inaccessible to anyone else.
When you visit one of our recommended forums, you must choose how much of yourself you will share with the forum host and other users. Cayuse Press does not sponsor any forums, but we have associated with Heaven's Pennies -- one of the very best online communities you will find for poetry, fiction, and information of interest to writers.
When you purchase goods from one of our affiliates, you establish a business relationship with them and must share all pertinent information with them. We are not privy to that information in any way. We have no way of knowing who shops our affiliates. That information would be a violation of ethical business practices. We are not partnered with such companies. We receive quarterly reports with all the products purchased through our affilate links, which determines our commission. We know what products are bought, we just don't know who bought them. We have only partnered with reliable companies with impeccable reputations that we patronize ourselves. The commission we earn is immediately returned to the operating budget to allow our labor of love to continue. If you have purchased material from our affiliates in the past, we heartily thank you. We would have written to you personally to thank you, but we don't know who you are. Your confidence in our affilates has kept us on-line and thriving since 1998.
Our policy has always been that we will never share your data with any other business or individual. We have adhered to this policy since the official launch of Cayuse Press and The Green Tricycle in 1998. We will continue to uphold this policy.
