A Cause for Peace

I repose in true darkness,
your fire-face singes mine
as we exist in an adjacent angle
of quiet warmth, weeping together
for all lonely hearts,
our words thumping for
companionship, a game of chess
(challenging) but not
complete.
There is a jazzy desire
to break into another phase where there
is a more eloquent light of limb,
thoughts...
Outside a maze of trees
bend soft at night's door,
your warm face is
always a fine conception
of love.
