Plunge

A blonde pair
   dove into a sunshower,
it was tea time
  tourquoise, breezy,
then all gold.
Lanky lady, embroidered man
   a certain sarcasm,
all in a decent show
a theatre trance,
  they dance, feel alive again
   after death knoll,
writer's block...
  Laden heavy
   with honey braids
the woman pulls away
  as evening arrives,
tangerine scent,
  spiked stars.
The two prance home
  to a grey brick ranch
Degas prints line the wall
  there is touch of a
sincere vision, as the woman's
  face drops down a notch,
   eyes kiss.
