Fire in the forest
and a Bastard
runs barefoot
through the ashes
of a hell made
here on earth.

Park Rangers tear smoke
found in the red
of an eye -
hacking cakes of soot
sizzle blue lungs
black;

And curse the Bastard
that runs barefoot
through the ashes
of a hell made
...here on earth.
