Beltane Fire Dance

Drum
Beat
Flame
Beat
Open my eyes
Open the air
Dance with the stars
Dance in the flame
Calling my voice
Chasten the flowers
Calling your voice
Crucify trees.
Winging black dovetail
Shudder or stare
Give me a drop
Give me a life.
Fire so high
I am so low
Calling no cravens.
The steps of light.
Up to Aurora
Bathe me, cold heat
Bask in such beauty
Linger with power.
Fall to my Earth
Vespers are gone
Fire is coals
Beltane is done.
