A Note from the Editor

Issue 12 of The Green Tricycle brings together works from writers in the United States and around the world on the themes of rest, edge and only. Sincere thanks go to each of the authors for making Issue 12 a great summer read.

While The Green Tricycle is a fun-to-read lit journal, let us take the time to remember all those who have recently served our country and foreign countries. I hope that many of those who have served and are presently serving will get a chance to read these stories. Let these stories and poems remind all of us of the simple things in life that are worth protecting and honoring.

I want to thank our publisher, Barbara Benepe for her great guidance with Issue 12. She eases the task with her patience and great attitude, making editing the Trike almost as much fun as reading the finished journal.

So dear Green Trikers, enjoy Issue 12, visit often, tell your friends, and please sign the guestbook. Most of all keep coming back for more rides around the block at The Green Tricycle.
