Idyll for Aragon
The fragrance of your body
is an oracle
where evening glides in
a moist whisper
that finds the hour waking
in sweet resurrection.
Travelers pass this country
on windmill dreams
but my tongue celebrates the poetry
of your vineyard,
fluent with the rhythm of the season
where you enter,
a suffusion of pained and singular traces
like dandelion seeds
adrift in summer starlight.
