Euclid's 466th Problem

Time, grinning, lapses,
the doors of my mind slam,
hallucinations bounce.

Off the wall,
dangling,
I hang.

Through antique glass,
distorted images
pain and nauseate me.

The lack of illumination
circumambulates.
All that I have learned from within

is locked away,
sealed up tight,
hidden.

I can offer nothing to those
from without.
There is no dawn

to this dark night;
it remains
three in the morning.
